Seems like the badder a so-called martial art is, the better it sells. No need for virtue, ethics, and humanity. Martial arts used to be for self-protection, preservation, and defending your family from harm, now it looks more like a con-art parading as a kick-ass combatives from hell. Reality-based self-defense technology for military spec-ops is the by-word. Even the word defense is getting the rap, “offense is the best defense”, “so we train to attack, not defend!” Wondered how can one be called an expert in killing when one hasn’t killed anyone?

Knife Assault 101

It used to be simpler, someone pissed you off, felt you’ve been wronged, wanna avenge your honor, wanna save face, wanna save your balls, wanna save your peanuts… pick up a knife and stick it in., the poor guy drops then you run and hide… end of story. But now it seems that many knife fighters/pundits/experts agree and declare that knifing another person requires more than just a knife and a pea-sized brain. You have to TRAIN knifing “arts”, methods, systems! You have to buy and use all these knives… again, again, again.. KNIVES! as in plural! One is NOT enough! Wear your gear… grip the blade like this… house your weapon hand up, down, left, right, crossed, uncrossed… stand this way… dance that way…make face… scream… charge and attttaaaacckkk!!! Insane! Simply insane, now you have to pay crazy amount of mullah and train like a nut just to be able to do scums and criminals ordinarily do. Even the pork and pigs in uniform are training knife assaults. You’d think knifefighting is as obsolete as swordfighting in this age of modern weaponry. Look again, it is as alive as the maggots in the nearby garbage dump.
